Manufacturing Execution System (MES) Engineer
Job Description:
- Execute projects and provide organization oversight for complex systems involving the development and implementation of MES solutions.
- Work closely with business management and users to define the needs and design solution that add value to the company
- Define functional requirements through stakeholder interviews, documentation analysis and Work Flow.
- Provide expert knowledge and experience to estimate the technical effort required to implement complex MES solutions
- Responsible for technical deliverables during the entire lifecycle of MES solution development projects Onsite support for all start-ups at internal manufacturing facilities.
- Proactively engage with vendors in order to define the overall technical approach for MES solutions
- Maintain technical skills and knowledge continuously updating them.
- Proactively report on project progress against scope, schedule, cost and performance
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning sessions
- Assist existing project sponsors in problem resolution and help define future opportunities. Provide support to existing solutions
- Conducts a variety of organizational studies, investigations and operational studies; recommends modifications to policies and procedures as appropriate
Requirements:
- Maximum age 35 years old and min Diploma holder in Industrial Engineer
- Experience in the same position especially in factory MES, process control systems in a manufacturing environment and fresh graduate are also welcome to apply
- Have a good understanding of key manufacturing processes in order to develop and execute the MES strategic
- Advantage to have an understanding of transactions to and from MES with systems such as ERP and Product Life cycle Management (PLM)
- Ability to diagnose and resolve on-site and remote application related computing problems and quickly learn new software/applications
- Have a knowledge in developing user requirements and functional specifications for MES solutions, Quality Systems integration, Deployment with plant floor/Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) solutions
- Project management – initiating, planning, executing project work and responsible person.
- Good command in English both oral and written
